We inspected and reported on damp and mould in a range of dwellings for Newcastle City Council in 2024. This typically involved a site inspection, thermographic survey, ventilation assessment, an occupant questionnaire, and installing data loggers. Installing numerous dataloggers allowed us to track temperature, humidity and dewpoint so we could assess the risks of condensation, damp and mould. Our report made recommendations for minimal interventions to cost-effectively mitigate the risk of damp and mould, such as ventilation improvements.
