We were the Retrofit Designers for this 90no. property scheme in Worcestershire. It was funded under the Demonstrator round of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. Although we weren’t engaged as Retrofit Assessors, we visited every property to carry out our own survey to assess the capacity of those properties to accept energy efficiency measures which included loft insulation, external wall insulation, ventilation, heat pumps, new windows and doors. The scheme was delivered through a Design and Build procurement contract with Wates Living Space. The project included properties in Conservation Areas requiring discussions with the Local Planning Authority and applications for consent. The project was completed in 2022.
