We have been working with Gentoo Homes over the past 7 years to carry out the design and implementation of the complete renewal of the Doxford Park Estate. The masterplan proposed over 700 new dwellings to address long term maintenance, sustainability and anti-social behaviour issues that the existing estate experienced and also addresses implementation issues around existing services, highways access and phased decanting.

Phase 1 and 2 are now complete and occupied. Phase 3 is being constructed on site and phase 4 has just commenced on site, both due for completion by March 2011. The scheme includes the creation of a substantial new village green, other parks and a ‘HomeZone’ which create a new sense of place for the development and link it more effectively with the primary school and local shopping centre.
